Courtney & Johnny — Windsor Castle Wedding

This couple was one very near and dear to my heart. Courtney and Johnny grew up in my home town and I was friends with Courtney’s big sister in high school. I hadn’t been back to Cumberland, MD in many years. So I was pretty excited when I got an email from Courtney about possibly photographing her big day! Their story is quite an unusual these days. They have been together since HIGH SCHOOL! And now the pair lives in New York City and travels home to visit family. So it was a no brainer to have their big day in their hometown with all of their family and friends.

I first met the two on a FaceTime date and it was clear they were perfect for each other. After our FaceTime date, I was so pumped to get in the same room with the pair. Courtney is so sweet and Johnny has the single most infectious smile I have ever encountered.

Their big day was truly beautiful. It had a great gatsby feel to it, down to Courtney’s STUNNING Heidi Gibson ring (Which you can see below, what a stunner!) She was the epitome of class and elegance and Johnny was quite dapper himself. Their bridal party were long time friends and family members and it was truly clear how much the pair were loved by all of the beautiful happy tears that were shed that day.

I hope you enjoy looking through these images as much as I loved being there to take them.
