This wedding means so much to me. I have known Bre since I was in middle school. We grew up in a very small town in western MD called Cumberland. Everyone knew everyone. So it meant a lot that over 20 years later I received an email from her saying that she had gotten engaged.

Watching someone you knew as a child marry the love her life does something good for your heart. It’s like the completion of a little part of you as an artist and reinstates in my brain why I love what I do.

When I met up with Bre and Nick to shoot their engagement session, it was clear to see that Nick completed Bre. I have known this person before we had any clue who we were but seeing how he made her smile and how his silly jokes lit up her face, could make even a cynic believe in true love.

Fast forward to their wedding day, I can honestly say I have never seen Bre cry… ever. But that day there were loads of tears. During first looks and vows. It was perfect. Romantic, emotional and fun. Just as all weddings should be.

I hope you enjoy a peak into their big day.
