Once in a blue moon you meet a person who shares you sense of style. If I were to get married all over again, it would literally be the day that Megan planned. My favorite number is 13. Her wedding was on Friday the 13th in October. It was modern meets Tim Burton. It was truly one of the most beautiful days I have ever been a part of.

The details were so beautifully thought out and you could tell in the details. As you will see below.

I met this beautiful pair through a raffle at an open house where the couple won a mini engagement session with me, which you can see here. After shooting and truly getting to know the pair, it was like I had known them my entire life.

There was loads of love, happy tears and emotion.

A few fun facts from the day:

The bride, who is a hair stylist, did her fiance’s hair. Which you will see below. We blindfolded him so he couldn’t see her before the first look.

It was a FREAKISHLY hot day and there were SWARMS of bee’s EVERYWHERE! The couples last name is Buzbee… coincidence… I think not!

I got stung seconds before the first look. It was the first time since child hood I have been stung by a bee. But the groom made sure to let me know it was good lucky to get stung by a bee at a Buzbee wedding.

I didn’t stop moving during any of the portraits because there were so many bees and the flowers kept them swarming us. However the couple was so adorable and in love you would have NO CLUE they were surrounded by bees.

I hope you enjoy their big day as much as I loved being there!
