Kara & Arsh — Chesapeake City Engagement

Blog, Engagement Session

Filed In

I met Kara a few years back when she was in the wedding of a beautiful couple I consider family! So I was elated when Kara reached out when she got engaged and even more excited when she asked if I was available to photograph her wedding!

Fast forward to their engagement session 🙂 I literally couldn’t have needed this more. Our original location fell through and luckily Kara and Arsh for a spur of the moment “jump in the car and let’s see what we find” shoot. And I am SOOOOO glad we did. It was a beautiful evening. The pair also brought their sweet little pup Nelson along for the ride. He was such a sweet little trooper. His hair reminded me of a cute little puppy wig.

And to top it off, we had plans for this particular field for a beautiful sunset shot. But when we got there, quickly realized it wasn’t setting where we thought. So que jumping in the car and quickly driving down the street from my house where there is a private beach. There were about 15 lovely retirees sitting out enjoying drinks and watching the sunset. I jumped out and explained our situation and they kindly let us take over the beach to get the shots. I will always be thankful for their kindness!

It was truly a beautiful evening spent with two amazing people. I couldn’t be more honored to be the one they chose to capture their big day.

I hope you enjoy their love and Nelson’s beautiful face <3
