I am not sure how the stars aligned in a way that brought this amazing pair into my life. But I am sure glad they did. I met Ashley at a small little bridal show and we immediately hit it off. She was not only as obsessed with Rose Gold as I am but she just gave off this bubbly smile that made you feel like you had known her forever. You see Ashley is a school teacher and Nolan is a Dover Police Officer. You couldn’t get a more adorable couple if you tried!

After her and I spoke a few times we were all on board and I was lucky enough to be the photographer she wanted by her side on her big day. Last year we decided to photograph her and Nolan’s engagement and go figure… it started raining. Which is good luck as the superstition goes. Well fast forward exactly one year later to their wedding day and again… it was raining. But did she let it get her down? Not a single bit. We broke out the clear umbrellas and commenced to making some epic portraits and a first look that could bring a tear to your eye.

Luckily Worsell Manor has a backup barn attached to their big barn for a reception and it fit the scene perfectly. Everyone involved in the big day was amazing. It is always a pleasure to work a wedding where the entire team pulls together to make it beautiful. I would also like to take a minuet to give a special shout out to Eddie from Chesapeake Inn Restaurant and Marina for being a total blast to work with and making sure everything was perfect!

So I hope you enjoy looking through this beautiful day as much as I loved being a part of it!
