Becca & Ian — Thousand Acre Farms Engagement

Blog, Engagement Session

When Becca reached out about shooting her engagement she said she was up for anything. So obviously I brought up smoke bombs. You know it’s going to be a good time when instead of any hesitation she said, let’s do it!

This session was a year or so in the making. Between her crazy schedule as the Social Media Coordinator for the Baltimore Ravens and Ian’s path finishing his rounds for his final year of medical school, we had a lot of speed bumps making this happen. But I am SO incredibly glad we got it done.

This was one of the most fun shoots I have had. My face literally hurt from laughing. The shoot took place at the amazing Thousand Acre Farms in Middletown, De. We were shooting on the water on a day that was quite windy. So needless to say, the smoke bombs took quite a lot of effort to get lit. My assistant, Vanessa Funk, was a trooper and made it happen. Along with a buddy of mine who is working on his videography skills, James Larson.

It was a wonderful day and we made so many pretty photographs.

I can’t wait for your big day my friends!
