Ohhhhh my goodness. Can I even put into words how amazing my first wedding of 2016 was? I truly don’t think so. This handsome sailor and his stunning bride really blew me away. The lovebirds have been together since high school.

I met Katie and Zach through my lovely pal Bonny with Chef’s Expressions. We met and it was like we had been friends for years. The pair lives in Virginia Beach where Zach is stationed with the Navy. We only got the chance to meet one time before their big day, although we made good use of FaceTime 🙂

The backdrop was the stunning Gramercy Mansion, I mean how could you not have a beautiful wedding day there? The two lucked out big time as we were set to have some serious rain storms that day. But lady luck must have been on their side because the clouds parted ways and the rain went away. They ended up having a stunning ceremony outside with beautiful weather.
