When working in the line of work I do, sometimes you are lucky enough to meet a couple and you feel like you have known them forever. This is one of them.
I met Hannah and Eileen through a mutual friend when I recently searched for a couple to shoot at the GORGEOUS Verdant Valley Farms. I had over 20 people respond but after briefly speaking with Hannah, I knew this was the couple I wanted to work with.
We decided to meet pre-sunrise, I am talking 6:00 am… and I am not a morning person, and it turned out neither were they 🙂 We all pulled our bums out of bed to meet and catch the beautiful sunrise, but it was cloudy. However that didn’t stop us from creating some of my favorite engagement photos to date.
Hannah and Eileen are two of the most down to earth people I have ever met. We spent most of the time laughing and talking about music when Eileen and I were’t coughing. Also turns out we both had bronchitis but we all wanted to make this shoot magical so we went and did it anyway! Waist deep on the coldest morning of the year, frozen dew covered sunflowers and we still managed to pull off the beautiful images you see below.
It’s times like this, where you meet people and realize you are in the right profession. It makes work fun.
I am so happy for these two love birds!
Cannot wait for their big day in September 2015!!!
XOXO
